pleasant stay with potential improvements
The staff impressed me with their friendliness and willingness to help which made our stay enjoyable. I appreciated the breakfast options which, while limited to cold choices, were still decent for a quick meal.
The dining area lacked personal space and felt cramped for the number of guests dining.

I really enjoyed my stay here, especially the comfy bed and the bright lighting in the room. The indoor pool is a fantastic place to unwind after a long day, and those cookies in the lobby were a sweet treat! The only downside was the noise from the doors when they closed, but it didn't take away from my overall experience. 😊

Spent a fun day at Water Country Water Park, just a short drive away, making our stay even better! The room was bright and clean, perfect for relaxing after our adventures. Having a kitchenette really came in handy for midnight snacks!
In my wife’s opinion, the breakfast options were limited. It would be great to have more healthy choices for families.

I recently stayed at the Howard Johnson and had a pretty good time. Check-in was smooth, and the staff greeted me with warm oatmeal raisin cookies, which was a nice touch. The room was clean and spacious, definitely exceeded my expectations for a budget hotel. Decor had a quirky retro vibe that made it feel unique. However, I did face a few issues. The bathroom could really use more storage space around the sink, especially for longer stays. Parking was tough to find during peak times. had to park out back and felt a little uneasy about it. Overall, I would consider returning due to the overall cleanliness and pleasant staff interaction.

Couples looking for a little extra
We entered our room and there was this heart-shaped chocolate box waiting for us. That little detail. The staff was really friendly, always there to crack a joke or two.
Sure, it wasn't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.
